Take those next steps to improving your biking abilities, with our 3-month cycling program called 2nd Gear!
As a continuation of 1st Gear, 2nd gear helps youth Ages 10+ takes those theoretical safety skills of 1st gear and advances them into practical on-the-bike skills!
While indoors, 2nd gear explores both endurance and sprint-based cycling workouts, paired with developing a major cycling skill: Gear Changing!
While outdoors, 2nd gear focuses on skill building and practical road safety skills like hand signals, shoulder checks and steering!
Through games, races and obstacle courses, 2nd gear gives your child access to 1 or 2 sessions per week, in a fun, social and safe environment!
Don’t have a bike? That’s okay! The NCCH will provide a bike during the program for any child that needs one!
