The riding takes place in NCCH’s state-of-the-art Computrainer Studio (What is a Computrainer?) so not only is it a great work out, but it also can be fun and social!
Because the bikes are stationary, no one will be riding on their own or left behind! As well, there’s no risk of falling off your bike, and riders at different fitness levels can ride together. No need to ride in the cold and wet weather! Computrainers allow you to stay on your bike all winter long. You can see all your ride data (speed, distance, etc.) on our MultiRider software, that’s displayed on a screen in front of you while you ride.

Want to get in shape and stay healthy throughout the winter? The Adult Recreation Sessions are the place to go! Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or a newcomer it doesn’t matter. You can ride at your own pace and take as many stops as you need.

Our Indoor Training Sessions can be both recreational or competitive! A racing computrainer bank and a leisure computrainer bank allow some riders to race each other and do a little competing for bragging rights, while others can just ride for fun and fitness.

The goal at NCCH is to provide the community with fun activities that allows everyone to be healthy!ReplacementTrainerSkewer-9714

Do I need my own bike?

It is always best to take your own road bike – however if you don’t have a road bike or a mountain bike with a “slick” or training tire, we at NCCH can provide you with a bike (for a fee) to use.

Training Skewer

It is highly suggested to have a training skewer when you are using the computrainers, they’re readily available at you’re local bike shop. (See Picture on Right)

Please arrive early

We like to start the sessions at the indicated time.  This means riders need to arrive early to set up their bike on the computrainer.  If you have your own bike, 15 minutes early is the suggested time.  If you are renting a bike, you may want to start earlier to make sure the bike is set up for you.
