Juniors, Seniors, Masters, Recreational Riders, we cater for Every-BODY

8As a development centre, clubs play a major role in cycling – yet we offer more than a volunteer club can expect to offer!
The National Cycling Centre Hamilton is a not-for-profit corporation and was created as a legacy organization following the very successful 2003 UCI World Road Cycling Championships in Hamilton Ontario. We hold together with full-time and part-time staff, as well as many wonderful, helpful volunteers.

Now, some people are competitive and want to race, yet some are intimidated by the idea of a racing.

If you’re the cyclist who likes to ride your bike, and is looking for an organized, experienced group to ride with, then the NCCH is for you! We cater to all riders no matter your age, ability or goals. And what better way to improve your enjoyment on your bike, as well as your fitness and skill level, by joining a group of like-minded individuals, getting together for organized Gran Fondo type group rides, or structured indoor training sessions.

Or, you might be the cyclist who is looking to compete in high-level races – the NCCH is also for you!

Our Centre is one of five nationally recognized cycling centres in Canada and is responsible for identifying, recruiting, testing, coaching and training high performance and development athletes in the Province of Ontario. The Centre is formally partnered with the Canadian Cycling Association, the Ontario Cycling Association, the City of Hamilton and McMaster University. Since its creation in 2005, the Centre has assisted over 75 athletes win medals at National Championships and/or become members of the Canadian National Cycling Team!

The NCCH has also partnered with a number of key organizations to form the very first Para Cycling Centre in Canada!
